sony bravia kdl-46z4100 reviews

Sony’s New Z4100 series have been a major hit among HDTV shoppers in late 2008, and it quite easy after taking a look at its spec sheet, pricing and customer review comments to see why it has gained so much popularity and praise since its inception to the bravia earlier in the year. Available in two sizes: the 40-inch KDL40Z4100 and the 46-inch KDL46Z4100 as well as two different color options, silver and black, the Bravia Z-Series combines an impressive list of features and components with rock solid pricing, quality and visual appeal to make for a product that any shopper would be pleased to have in their home.

Stunning picture quality is capable on the Bravia KDL-46Z4100 thanks to the new 120hZ Dejudder processing, 10-bit panel and improvements to the picture processing algorithms in the bravia engine, the Z-Series 46Z4100 & 40Z4100 are amongst the best looking LCDs available today. The 10-bit panel is an upgrade from the market standard 8-bit, and effectively adds 4 times the amount of colors displayable, resulting in much more natural and true to life images. The 120hz refresh rate is a doubling of the LCD standard of 60Hz and allows for incredible improvements to motion smoothness, eliminating the past and current problems of lag, judder, and annoying image artifacting prone to LCD televisions of the 60hz variety.

Other major upgrades to the high end Sony KDL-46Z4100 LCD HDTV include the compliance and support of both the x.v. color standard, which provides nearly twice as much color information as the current NTSC specifications, and inclusion into the DLNA program; which will protect your television from becomming obsolete with the rollout of the new digital media features from across the various gadget and television manufacturers in the future.

“top notch lcd tv” sony kdl46z4100 By Michael Dobey “kinksmanz”

Many folks are going for the samsung lcds because the blacks look blacker.

but those tv’s have a glass screen that reflects everything. This tv is sharper than a xbr4 or xbr5 , those were last years models. the engine in this tv is equivalent to a xbr6. I replaced a great 50 inch sony sxrd

tv with this one. Sony’s newer 52’s didn’t have all the features of this one. the s, v, and w’s are fine tv’s but they don’t have deep color the new color standard that future discs will have. Nor do they have x.v. color which is here already and is used in…

“First LCD TV” kdl46z4100 By O. Miller

This was the first LCD HD television that I purchased and I found the Sony to have no faults (purchased 6/2008). I love the 3 inch depth and light weight (about 57 pounds).

The set up was easy and the screen viewing wonderful with any media thrown at it (”rabbit ears”, cable, blu-ray, DVD, XBOX, Wii). There is no glare and you can view easily from an angle. 4HDMI and multiple component ports made_…

This TV autosenses when you are watching regular (non-blue-ray) DVDs and somehow enhances the picture.

My understanding is that it delivers…

“A Sony non-XBR set at at even better price!” kdl46z4100 TV Review By Irvin M. Haas “dvdirv”

As a previous owner of a Sony 40XBR4, I was skeptical of a Sony set that was not one of the XBR series. Consequently, I discovered the “Z” series which has most of the XBR features, but at an even better price.

The KDL-46Z4100/B is one great set with a picture to match. This model doesn’t have the x.v color feature, but has …
